Turn off windows XP balloon pop ups

turn off the balloon pop-ups :

1. In start menu go to run
2. Type regedit and press return key
3. Now registry editor will get opened
4. Open
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced.
5. Create a REG_DWORD named EnableBalloonTips.
6. Set the value data to 0. (0 for disable pop-ups and 1 for enable pop-ups)
7. Close regedit.
8. Restart the computer.

Now balloon pop-ups will not be disturb you!

If you want to turn on balloon pop-ups than change value to 1.
